Colin Rose... has been a Professional Magician since 1967, although a skilled 'Close Up' Magician, Children's Entertainer and 'all round' exponent of 'The Magic Arts.' he is best known for his 'Stage' Performances... "A Fantasy in Flame." Like most 'boy magicians' the first trick that caught his eye was 'The Acrobatic Match Box' executed by 'Ali Bongo' when he was the Manager at 'Hamleys (London)... this was enough to inspire 'The Young Cagliostro' to pursue a dream that went far beyond the boundaries of South London. As with many 'Young Magician's of The Year' this Award brought him much publicity and national press attention, enough to confirm his determination to have a career in show business, with the crucial help, advice and management of Patrick Page the 'bookings' & 'agents' were soon calling... The Magic had begun!
In those days, with the ready availability of Theatres & Cabaret Clubs, Colin had the opportunity to perform and he soon began to acquire the special skills of 'Stage & Presentation' that gives an act a smooth and stylish flow that comes only with repeated performance and youthful confidence... For Colin 'The Dream' really came true when he was on tour with the great 'Richiardi Jnr'... A Master in the Art of Stage Presentation & Performance, night after night he watched from the wings learning how to create atmosphere, to light a stage, to move, to fill a stage, to exit... to leave the audience exhausted with the expectation of more... to create something much more than just a magic show... to offer a theatrical experience that would inspire and encourage, with music that would feed the senses and drown the soul but that would leave the audience with an unforgettable introduction to the craft that we know as 'The Art of Magic'...
Now, in the heart of the Lincolnshire Countryside, Colin has created a unique and special 'magical' spot where he now lives... here you will find his 'Workshop' where he makes his magic effects and illusions for Five of Hearts...
and... his Magic studio. He always thought it would be nice to create a special place where he could not only rehearse and develop his own magic performances but a place where other Magicians could meet, talk and make magic together. The Studio is his accomplishment and the result of the last four years in the making, with a small Stage Area for Act Development, Club Entrance Acts,
Consultancy & Tuition in Performance & Presentation, Classic Magic Routines, Stage, Close Up and Illusions etc... with advice on Music, Lighting and Pyrotechnics to enhance your own performance.
